Pastor Gary W. Shew and wife Carol have been in active ministry for 20 years prior to coming to Landisburg Church of God in 2004. He is a 1969 graduate of James Buchannan High School, and a 1987 graduate of Winebrenner Theological Seminary, Findlay, Ohio. In 2005, he received a Bachelor of Biblical Studies in Pastoral Ministries and, in 2007, a Masters of Arts in Pastoral Ministries, both from Masters International Divinity School, in Evansville, Indiana.
Presently, Pastor Shew is working on a Doctorate in Pastoral Ministries from Masters International Divinity School.
Carol is very involved in the work of the church in Music Ministry and the Women's Group. They have two daughters who are active in the ministries of their churches. The Shews have seven wonderful grandchildren whom they love to spoil. Their oldest grandchild is twelve years old and the youngest is two. All seven grandchildren have been the apples of their eyes, and they thank God for them.
